

The IFS Center offers four levels of insurance and finance training:

IFS Specialist Certificate: Designed for entry-level individuals to advance or to enter into the IFS industry

IFS Analyst Certificate: Designed for individuals with intermediate-level skills and experience in the IFS industry who are interested in technical training in order to support career advancement. Provides an in-depth program of study to prepare for advancement in careers such as underwriting, business finance, accounting, and risk management.

IFS Advanced Certificates & Licensing: Targets advanced-level licensing prep courses and specific technical training for employees with long term industry experience.

IT Business Analyst Certificate: prepares IT professionals to gather, analyze, communicate and validate requirements that affect processes, policies and information systems.

Associates Degree in Insurance & Financial Services: Designed for individuals who want to pursue post-secondary education in the field of IFS, who intend to transfer to a 4-year institution to enroll in an advanced degree, or for individuals who have some college credits and are interested in completing a degree.
Available in 2009General Insurance Certificate: trains student in the principles and practices of insurance. Upon successful completion, student can register to take the national exam through AICPCU.
Investment Banking Certificate: Development of curriculum in this growing sector of the IFS Industry is underway. Available 2008 @ Capital and Norwalk Community Colleges.
