HARTFORD, Conn. (October 20, 2024)– Trinity Health Of New England is pleased to announce its third annual Making Miracles Happen fundraising gala was held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut. The evening brought together hundreds colleagues, clinicians, supporters, local leaders, and other guests to honor Trinity Health Of New England health care heroes serving patients and communities throughout Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

The event included a speaking program celebrating the faith-based organization’s ability to provide safe, high-quality, compassionate care to each individual. A feature video and inperson presentation highlighted four grateful patients who shared their journeys of survival and triumph facing lung cancer, multiple sclerosis, pancreatic cancer, and a traumatic spine injury. Each story honored the “extraordinary” team of Trinity Health Of New England providers, nurses, technicians, aides, support staff, and many more who provided the patients with expertise and kindness, and served as their “beacon of hope.”

“We are truly blessed that we were able to gather and celebrate the miracles that happen across our hospitals and ambulatory sites. Honoring these four patients and their care teams, reminds us that our efforts and support will help transform the lives of our patients and that is beyond gratifying,” said, Timothy R. Stanton, Regional Vice President of Philanthropy, Trinity Health Of New England.

All proceeds of the event will benefit Trinity Health Of New England’s five hospitals – Johnson Memorial Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital and Saint Mary’s Hospital – along with their Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group and ambulatory facilities. Keith Kountz and Laura Hutchinson, anchors of WTNH News 8’s “Good Morning Connecticut,” served as emcees for the evening. Entertainment for the event was provided by District 21 and guests received a keepsake photo from New England Photobooth.
