Hartford, CT- This Tuesday, Project Purple will celebrate a transformational $750,000 gift to the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute, funding the launch of a comprehensive High-Risk Pancreatic Cancer Program (HRPCP). This initiative will significantly enhance efforts in early detection, treatment, education, and outreach for pancreatic cancer across Connecticut. The program aims to address the urgent need for better resources and support for patients and families affected by this aggressive disease. 

Founded in 2010 by Dino Verrelli, Project Purple is a Connecticut-based non-profit that has become a leading advocate in the fight against pancreatic cancer. Through funding innovative research and providing direct support to patients and their families, Project Purple is driving meaningful progress toward improving patient outcomes and increasing awareness of this often-overlooked disease.
