John Rosero Named Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut

GLASTONBURY, CT — January 22, 2025 — Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut (DDNJCT) has announced the appointment of John Rosero as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Rosero, who assumed this leadership role late last month, will oversee the organization’s legal and compliance functions and Delta Dental’s government affairs operations.

“John brings a wealth of experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes to the organization and strategic vision to our growth and innovation strategies. His distinguished track record in legal and transformation leadership, combined with expertise in compliance, risk management, and corporate governance within the insurance industry, will be a critical asset to Delta Dental,” said Paul Di Maio, President and CEO of DDNJCT. “His leadership will be instrumental as we grow and advance our mission of promoting oral health and well-being through high-quality and accessible dental and vision benefit solutions.”

Mr. Rosero joins DDNJCT following an accomplished career at Prudential Financial, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for U.S. Businesses, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Counsel. At Prudential, he provided expert counsel on matters ranging from regulatory compliance to corporate governance, distribution, and strategic initiatives.

John holds a Ph.D. in Global Affairs from Rutgers University, an LL.M. in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law, and a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. John also holds certifications in regulatory compliance and artificial intelligence. He is a trustee for the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey and an advisory council member for OWL.co, a leading AI Insurtech, further showcasing his commitment to excellence and innovation.

John’s appointment follows Paul J. Di Maio, who succeeded Dennis G. Wilson as President and CEO of DDNJCT effective January 1, after serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Administrative Officer.
