University of Saint Joseph’s Women’s Leadership Center to Co-Host Combating Violence Against Women
(West Hartford, CT – February 24, 2022) – The Women’s Leadership Center (WLC) at the University of Saint Joseph is pleased to partner with the World Affairs Council of CT and Interval House in hosting “Combating Violence Against Women” on March 2, 2022 at 12 Noon. This program is made possible by the generous support of The Hartford. The virtual program in recognition of International Women’s Day will feature Reem Alsalem, United Nations Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences. This important event represents an ongoing collaboration between the Women’s Leadership Center at the University of Saint Joseph and the World Affairs Council of Connecticut. This virtual event is free to the public, but registration is required.
