Village #FeelTheLove campaign to provide children with desperately needed winter gear

Starting Valentine’s Day, The Village for Families & Children is calling on the community to contribute online donations and help children in Greater Hartford #feelthelove with warm winter gear by Tuesday, February 28.Temperatures have been freezing and unpredictable. With more weeks of winter ahead, children in Greater Hartford need sufficient winter gear to stay warm.Through school-based services alone, The Village serves nearly 1,000 students and their families at 17 Hartford and Vernon public schools. Online donations will help provide these children with new coats, hats, scarves and mittens—and give a family in need one less thing to worry about. Support in any amount will make a difference.
