An Evening of poetry at USJ with Author of New Robert Frost Biography
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- The University of Saint Joseph will host an evening of poetry and lecture by Adam Plunkett, author of the new Robert Frost biography Love and Need: The Life of Robert Frost’s Poetry, on Monday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., in Mercy Hall’s Crystal Room. This event is free and open to the public.
Plunkett, a literary critic, has received fellowship support from organizations such as the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Leon Levy Center for Biography. Love and Need is his first book.
This program is supported in part by the Peter Brazeau Poetry Fund and the Maximilian E. and Marion O. Hoffman Foundation Fund for the Humanities at the University of Saint Joseph and organized by the Department of Cultures, Arts, and Literatures at USJ.
The lecture will be followed by a question-and-answer session, book signing and refreshments. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
