Windsor Locks, CONN. – April 3, 2025 – The Connecticut Airport Authority is pleased to announce that BermudAir officially launched its inaugural nonstop flight from Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) on Thursday evening. The new service will operate year-round, twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays.

“We extend a warm welcome to BermudAir as they begin operations at Bradley International Airport and greatly appreciate their investment in our region,” said Michael W. Shea, Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority. “BermudAir’s presence at Bradley Airport will allow for faster access to Bermuda and more convenience for both leisure and business travelers.”

BermudAir will operate flights between Connecticut and Bermuda on its Embraer 175 aircraft, with a flight duration of two hours. Additionally, Bermuda’s airport provides border preclearance for passengers returning to the United States, which means that they clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Bermuda before returning to BDL.

“The launch of our service between Bradley International Airport and Bermuda marks an exciting milestone for BermudAir. This new route strengthens our commitment to providing seamless, premium travel experiences while deepening the connection between Bermuda and New England,” said Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir. “We’re thrilled to welcome Connecticut travelers aboard and look forward to introducing them to the warmth and hospitality that define BermudAir and Bermuda.”

Bermuda is Bradley International Airport’s fifth international destination, offering local travelers more opportunities to explore the island’s unique pink sandy beaches, history and vibrant culture. The service is also furthering business connectivity between Connecticut’s insurance and Bermuda’s reinsurance sectors. BermudAir is Bradley International Airport’s 12th passenger airline.

To celebrate the new service to Bermuda, passengers on the inaugural flight were treated to a celebratory send-off prior to their departure.
