Hartford HealthCare Colleagues Honored at the 4th Annual Mujer Imparable Awards

We are proud to celebrate two outstanding Hartford HealthCare leaders who were recently honored at the 4th Annual Mujer Imparable Award Ceremony, held at the Bushnell Theater. This prestigious event recognizes remarkable women who have made a profound impact on their communities.

The Mujer Imparable Awards spotlight women who are shaping the future with resilience, leadership, and unwavering commitment to positive change. This year’s ceremony gathered a powerful community of leaders, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.

Award Recipients:

* Dorely Roldán Dávila, Manager of Community Health and Health Promotions at Hartford Hospital

Dedicated and culturally astute, Dorely has nearly 20 years of experience in office management, community health promotion, advocacy, and cancer health education. Her journey in healthcare is fueled by a commitment to serving underserved and uninsured populations. Dorely’s impactful career at Hartford Hospital includes roles in community outreach, cancer prevention education, and patient navigation, as well as spearheading outreach efforts for underserved communities. She is a passionate advocate for holistic care and continuously advancing her professional growth.

* Dr. Marisa Moro-De-Casillas, Movement Disorders Neurologist at the Chase Family Movement Disorders Center, Hartford HealthCare, and Director of Experience and Equity

Born and raised in Mexico City, Dr. Marisa Moro-De-Casillas brings a lot of experience in neurology, having completed her residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland and a fellowship at Brown University. She is dedicated to improving access to care for ethnic minority patients, particularly Hispanic and Latino communities suffering from movement disorders. Dr. Moro-De-Casillas founded Hartford HealthCare’s Chase Family Movement Disorders Center Spanish Clinic, one of the few Hispanic Movement Disorders clinics in the U.S., and was a key figure in launching the first educational event for Hispanics with Parkinson’s in Hartford. Her leadership in Hartford HealthCare’s Latinx/Hispanic Colleague Resource Group, SOMOS, further highlights her commitment to diversity and equity in healthcare.
