YMCA Of Greater Hartford Announces Newly Elected Board of Directors

(May 18, 2022, Hartford, CT) – The YMCA of Greater Hartford elected its new Board of Directors Leadership team as well as individual Board Members at the Association’s Annual Meeting on April 21st.

Peter Olson of Southwick, MA, was appointed Board Chair. Mr. Olson is the Managing Director/Global Alliance Director of CBRE | Global Workplace Solutions for Travelers Insurance. Tim McGrath, of Ellington, was named Treasurer and is Director, Renewal Underwriting at UnitedHealthcare National Account. Dr. Reggy Eadie, of Southington, was named Secretary and is President & CEO at Trinity Health Of New England.

“I’m honored and humbled for the opportunity to serve in the capacity of board chair for the Greater Hartford Y,” said Peter Olson. “It’s my belief as we move forward, our staff

and volunteers will continue to make the Y a unique family-based environment to help people develop their fullest potential in spirt, mind and body and to collectively strive to belong to something greater.”

“Peter has been a vital member of our YMCA family for decades and we look forward to his leadership as we enter an exciting time with new programs and resources to build stronger communities throughout Greater Hartford,” said Harold Sparrow, President & CEO, YMCA of Greater Hartford.

The following newly appointed board members were also announced at the Annual meeting: Cora Hall of Plainville, AVP, Marketing Strategy | Enterprise Integrated Marketing at the Travelers; James Martin of Hartford, Financial Services Representative | Financial Planner at Barnum Premier Client Group; and James Michel of Bloomfield, Chief Executive Officer for Access Health CT.
