[Conn. June 26, 2023] – In a time where funds are tight for nonprofits and capacity and structure to run digital giving campaigns are not always available, 860Gives powered by United Way Inc., arrives to fulfill this need when many of these nonprofits are approaching the closure of their fiscal year.
860Gives is a region-wide giving campaign that is open between June 19 – 30 and any nonprofit 501 c3, currently supported or not by United Way, can join and raise funds for their cause.
“United Way is recognized as a mobilizer of resources in the community, and what better way to demonstrate this than to provide our community partners with the tools they need to raise critical funds as many of these organizations approach the end of their fiscal year. This online peer-to-peer fundraising campaign is designed to bring a collective voice around the nonprofit community, deepen our region’s culture of giving and build capacity for all nonprofits to achieve fundraising goals,” shared Eric Harrison, President and CEO, United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut
