Carol Quinn Toomey has been appointed as a Managing Director in the Public Sector practice at Accenture, a global technology consulting firm. Carol is responsible for achieving Accenture’s vision to be the premier innovation and execution partner for the State of Connecticut, and university and nonprofit clients in Connecticut.
Ms. Toomey has over 32 years of experience in helping organizations successfully navigate change, particularly for global change programs and large-scale systems implementations. She started working with manufacturing companies, and eventually found her way to the public sector in 2000, working in Connecticut, and that has been her passion ever since – bringing the best of Accenture every day to support innovation and transformational change.
A proud Connecticut resident, Carol joined the Hartford, CT Accenture office in 1988, after completing her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Carol lives with her family in Portland, CT and enjoys traveling when schedules and world conditions permit! One of her personal passions is helping to prepare tomorrow’s leaders, and she serves as an Executive Member of the Board for the Girl Scouts of Connecticut.
