February 6, 2024 | Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford has announced the 2024 Great Futures Celebration. This year’s event will be held on May 9 at the South End Boys & Girls Club.
The theme of this year’s event is Clubchella: Setting the Stage for Success. It honors the importance and value of arts, music, and culture in the lives of Hartford Youth. The event also celebrates the expansion of music, dance, and arts programs available at no additional cost to Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford. The evening will include performances from Club Members in these programs as well as headlining acts Savage Pianos and Mass-Conn-Fusion.
The Great Futures Celebration is Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford’s signature fundraising event which is critical to provide high-quality programming in safe and enriching spaces at a low cost. Membership to Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford costs families just $10 an academic year, while the true cost per Member is more than $2,000.
Following the moto of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, “Great Futures Start Here,” the Great Futures Celebration honors the remarkable impact our Clubs have on youth in the Hartford area. Our 2024 Youth of the Year and Junior Youth of the Year will be introduced and will share a bit of their personal journeys toward a great future.
