Windsor Locks, CONN – May 4, 2024 – The Connecticut Airport Authority was once again honored to host 50 veterans taking part in Honor Flight Connecticut.

The veterans, along with their guardians and Honor Flight staff, departed from Bradley International Airport (BDL) the morning of May 4 and began their journey to Washington D.C.

Honor Flight Connecticut brings military veterans to our nation’s capital to visit the memorials that commemorate their service and to recognize the brave men and women who’ve served our country.

The Connecticut Airport Authority would like to extend a special thank you to the team at Bradley International Airport and Southwest Airlines for assisting in today’s Honor Flight Connecticut program to ensure our veterans had a meaningful send off and journey to Washington D.C.

The group returned back to BDL shortly after 11:00 p.m. the same day.
