Introducing nonstop flights to New Bern, NC

Windsor Locks, CONN. – February 20, 2024 – The Connecticut Airport Authority is pleased to announce that low-cost carrier Breeze Airways will be launching nonstop seasonal service from Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) in New Bern, North Carolina. The flight will begin on May 24 and operate on the Friday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend and then on Thursdays and Sundays moving forward.

“We are thrilled with Breeze Airways’ growing footprint at Bradley International Airport and their addition of new nonstop service to New Bern,” said Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E., Connecticut Airport Authority Executive Director. “As the airline approaches its third anniversary at Bradley International Airport, we very much appreciate their continued partnership and look forward to the launch of the many exciting destinations.”

This most recent announcement follows news of the airline’s plans to launch additional seasonal, nonstop service in May from BDL to Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Cincinnati and Greenville-Spartanburg, SC. As well as San Diego and Santa Ana, CA, as part of the airline’s BreezeThru service, which includes one stop, but passengers do not have to change planes.

“As one of our first bases of operation, Breeze began service from Bradley International in May 2021,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “With the four additional routes to the Carolinas and Ohio in the coming months, Breeze now offers 19 nonstop destinations from BDL.”

Breeze currently flies nonstop between BDL and Charleston, SC (CHS), Columbus, OH (CMH), Fort Myers, FL (RSW), Jacksonville, FL (JAX), Las Vegas, NV (LAS), New Orleans, LA (MSY), Norfolk, VA (ORF), Phoenix, AZ (PHX), Raleigh-Durham, NC (RDU), Richmond, VA (RIC), Sarasota, FL (SRQ), Savannah, GA (SAV), Tampa, FL (TPA), and Vero Beach, FL (VRB).

Breeze is also offering 20% off on all roundtrip base fares until February 21 at 11:59pm PST. The discount is on travel from March 6 to Sept. 3, 2024.
