February 27, 2024 | As part of Murtha Cullina’s efforts to strategically enhance its corporate legal services, Eric J. Gyllenborg has joined the firm as a partner in the Business Law practice. Eric’s practice centers on general corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, insurance agent and broker business and transactions, commercial lending, private securities offerings, private equity, venture capital, employment and intellectual property law.

Eric provides counsel to corporate clients on a wide array of business and finance matters such as formation of entities, capital raising and advising start-ups. He works with clients on the drafting of shareholder agreements, operating agreements, partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, employment agreements, consulting agreements and independent contractor agreements.
Additionally, Eric represents nonprofit entities with formation, obtaining tax-exempt status, fundraising compliance, mergers and acquisitions and dissolutions.

Eric will practice in the firm’s Boston office. Boston office managing partner, Sara Bryant, notes, “Eric’s depth of experience in corporate law makes him a valuable addition to our team, and we look forward to collaborating with him to better serve our clients.”
