Hartford, Conn – On September 23, 11 members of the Nassau Annuity Triathlon Team are going the distance… 70.3 miles, to be exact. The team will compete at the IRONMAN 70.3 at Jones Beach while raising funds to build a new kitchen at the Ukrainian Congress Commission of America’s Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv, Ukraine.
In partnership with UCCA Ambassador, celebrity chef, and humanitarian Rachael Ray, the team will raise funds to help provide three meals a day to thousands of men, women, and children affected by the war. Unbroken is a unique place where adults and children can receive comprehensive medical care, including reconstructive surgery, orthopedics, and robotic prosthetics.
