Deloitte’s Human Capital Transformation Executive Glenn Davidson Joins NextGen Summit Lineup

Glenn is a senior-level executive with over 30 years of experience driving major transformational initiatives – from an organization’s inside as well as a consultant – across the public sector, including Federal, state and local governments; higher education institutions; NGOs, multi-lateral agencies; and not-for-profits.

Glenn currently leads Deloitte Consulting’s human capital work across state and local governments and higher education institutions. His passion is workforce development. Among his clients are Virginia’s Secretary of Labor, where he is helping transform the state’s workforce development programs; and North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services, where he is helping its Secretary engage stakeholders in producing a plan of action for increasing the State’s supply of health caregivers.

Immediately prior to joining Deloitte, Glenn served as a Presidential Executive Fellow and Executive Director of Enterprise Services for the US Department of Commerce where he was responsible for planning, designing, building and running the first cabinet department-level, multi-function, shared services operations in the Federal Government. Today, Enterprise Services provides human resources, acquisition, financial management and information technology services to the 47,000 employees of the Department’s 12 bureaus and Office of the Secretary.

Earlier in his career, Glenn worked in Federal and state government. He was a legislative aide to Ohio Congressman Ronald M. Mottl in the 1980s. He also served as chief of staff to Virginia Governor L. Douglas Wilder in the 1990s.

Glenn is a graduate of the American University from which he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Science, Technology and Public Policy from the George Washington University.

Glenn serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Virginia’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, the Board of Trustees for the Science Museum of Virginia, and the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Science Center Foundation.
