Hartford Marathon Foundation Welcomes CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) as Title Sponsor of Holiday 5K in West Hartford
CLA Blue Back Mitten Run to take place on Sunday, December 3
November 20, 2023 – East Hartford, CT – Hartford Marathon Foundation (HMF) recognizes the support of its new community partner CLA (Clifton Larson Allen LLP) as the title sponsor of its longtime holiday 5K tradition in West Hartford. The CLA Blue Back Mitten Run will take place on Sunday, December 3, and feature a 3.1-mile race open to runners and walkers of all ages and experiences, and shorter HMF FitKids races for children aged 2-11. All races start on Burr Street adjacent to West Hartford Town Hall and end on Isham Road in Blue Back Square.
Since its inception in 2009, the event has become a cherished annual tradition bringing together up to 2,000 participants for a community celebration of fitness and fun. The support of new title sponsor CLA West Hartford, whose CPA and professional services advisors are located on South Main Street in West Hartford, helps HMF in its mission to promote healthy living and support charities and economic activity in local communities. Historically, participants in the CLA Blue Back Mitten Run enthusiastically support the collection drive for new mittens, hats, gloves, scarves, socks to benefit neighbors in need each year; monetary donations are also collected to support the Town That Cares Fund in their mission.

All race participants receive a custom knit beanie hat and will enjoy a post-race party with cookies and snacks in Blue Back Square.
