NEW BRITAIN, CT – Hospital for Special Care welcomed Elizabeth Szymanoski, foundation director in January. Szymanoski will oversee daily stewardship operations of the Foundation, lead development initiatives, and provide personalized support in helping donors meet their philanthropic goals through the major gifts and planned giving programs.

Szymanoski has 13 years of healthcare and community fundraising experience. She comes from Easter Seals, where she served as Director of Development since October, 2020. She began her career in fundraising at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain in 2011, and was part of the Central Region Development Team for Hartford HealthCare for 9 years. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Southington, and the New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (NEAHP), where she also is a member of their Board of Directors.

Szymanoski graduated from Quinnipiac with a Bachelor of Science degree in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. She also holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International.
