The market has made adjustments to provide local, seasonal produce and goods in a warm greenhouse!
Once again, KNOX will feature the best in local food and fun, as they host the 10th Annual Harvest Market at the KNOX Greenhouse on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Shoppers can gear up for the holidays with Connecticut-Grown produce, locally-made gifts, family-friendly activities, and food trucks. Just like before, market highlights will include live music, great vendors, and of course KNOX Farmers. Join us in KNOX’s warm, festive greenhouse to support local farmers and pick out some unique gifts before the holidays!
Extra precautions are being taken this year to ensure guests are safe, including one-way foot traffic through the market, masks, and extra space between vendors.
The Harvest Market will be held on Saturday, November 21st from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The market bell will be rung promptly at 10 AM, prompting farms, artisans, and organizations to open their stalls to one and all. During the market, guests can enjoy the vendors, music, food trucks, and fun!
According to KNOX Executive Director, Patrick Doyle “This year’s market will be a little different, including safety protocols that exceed Connecticut’s Stage 2 Reopening standards. I am grateful we have the opportunity to keep this tradition going and appreciate the flexibility of our vendors and guests.”
During the Market KNOX, will celebrate the 2020 Hartford Urban Garden Society (HUGS) Awards winners. Market-goers will have the opportunity to see displays from some of the beautiful gardens and landscapes that HUGS Awardees are contributing to Hartford.
This is the original Thanksgiving Market in the region and the only one in Hartford. Guests will enjoy The Harvest Market is located at 75 Laurel Street Hartford, CT 06106. Entrance and on-site parking are free.
