Hartford, CT, December 12, 2023 — The MetroHartford Alliance (MHA) held its Annual Meeting on December 12, 2023, at the historic Pratt & Whitney Hangar Museum, where it proudly presented a series of significant announcements that mark a new era of growth and connectivity for the Hartford region.

Enhanced Hart Lift Funding
Mayor Luke Bronin spoke about the success of the Hart Lift program and additional funding for it to continue transforming Hartford.
InsurTech Expansion with 3 New Company Offices
Emma Wade-Smith, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for North America and the HM Consul General in New York (pictured right), proudly unveiled the expansion of the UK’s vibrant InsurTech sector into the United States with the opening of three British InsurTech firms’ headquarters in Hartford: Previsico, Matrix iQ, and Gaia.
Direct Flight from Bradley to London
Kevin Dillon, Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority, highlighted efforts to develop a daily, direct flight from Bradley Airport to London.
