Shipman & Goodwin LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Paciorek has joined the firm as an Associate in the Business and Corporate practice group, where he will focus in the areas of private equity and venture capital.
Michael structures financing transactions, advises on corporate governance and contract matters, and handles mergers and acquisitions on behalf of life science and technology startups, emerging and middle-market companies, and private equity funds.

Michael received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for academic excellence in Technology and Law Practice. He received his J.D. with honors and a Certificate in Tax Law from the University of Connecticut School of Law. While at law school, he was the Executive Editor for the Connecticut Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
