Pierce & Gitlin Join Halloran Sage – Broaden & Strengthen Firm’s Health Care & Litigation Practice Groups
Howard Pierce and Stephanie Gitlin, founding Partner and Counsel of Pierce LLC, respectively, are joining with Halloran Sage, a full service law firm with five locations across Connecticut and a Washington D.C. office. Their addition will expand and strengthen Halloran Sage’s Health Care and Commercial Litigation practices, adding a specialized focus of health care cost containment, False Claims Act & whistleblower cases, and independent internal investigations.
Pierce and Gitlin focus on cost containment matters for health care and property/casualty industries. They have over two decades of experience representing private and public health plans and prosecuting those who defraud these institutions. They also represent property/casualty insurers in state-based investigations against medical providers, national durable medical equipment manufacturers and distributors, and others. In litigation matters, Pierce and Gitlin handle commercial disputes, contract disputes, and business torts.
Pierce earned his JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law and his BS from State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Management. Stephanie earned her JD, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and her BA from Cornell University.
