HARTFORD, May 25, 2021 – The Hartford Chamber of Commerce, an initiative of the MetroHartford Alliance, has survived and thrived—and united a strong business community through the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the Hartford Chamber, an initiative of the MetroHartford Alliance, will have a home base at 103 Pratt Street in Hartford.
To celebrate, the Hartford Chamber is hosting a Pop-Up Ribbon Cutting and grand opening event on Wednesday, May 26 at 11:30 a.m.
The street-level storefront presence will serve as a hub where visitors to the city of Hartford can be welcomed and get access to local resources. Current and potential business owners can meet with Hartford Chamber staff to ask questions and receive support, including introductions to property owners, developers, and others who can help foster the creation, launch, and expansion of businesses within the city.
“After such a hard year, we’re beyond excited to provide our Chamber community with a space to connect with us and each other,” says Hartford Chamber of Commerce Director of Small Business Development Shannon Mumley. “We’d love everyone to drop in!”
The Chamber Pop-Up space was made possible through an agreement with Shelbourne Global Solutions, LLC, which has dedicated time and resources to support Hartford and ensure the business community receives the support they need and deserve. Shelbourne has agreed to let the Chamber utilize the space rent-free until September.
“This is a great place for people to connect with the Hartford Chamber and learn more about the benefits of membership,” says MetroHartford Alliance Digital Marketing Manager Amy Albert. “We’d like to help as many small local businesses as possible.”
