HARTFORD, Connecticut – November 11, 2023 Whittlesey’s assurance supervisor Emily Kindle was named one of Connecticut Society of CPA’s (CTCPA) “Aspiring CPAs.”
Emily has over six years of accounting experience and joined the Firm in 2017. She specializes in providing audit and accounting services to nonprofit organizations and has considerable experience working with real estate entities that receive funding from HUD and CHFA-assisted programs.
Emily is a member of the real estate thought leadership niche and the nonprofit technical subcommittee. She is an active participant in firm volunteering and Women of Whittlesey events. She received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of New Haven and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT.

CTCPA’s Women’s Awards recognized CPAs for their outstanding contributions to the state profession in three categories: Distinguished Service, Women to Watch, and Aspiring CPAs. The winners will be honored at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT, on January 17, 2024.
